The Manager - Water Management Solutions is responsible for providing strategic planning and driving tactical aspects of projects to achieve short, medium, and long-term goals for water management solutions. The position involves synthesizing information from subject matter experts and operators to evaluate and rank water conservation and treatment opportunities, as well as leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers through influence and mentorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering or related fields from an accredited curriculum and ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Master's degree in civil, chemical, or mechanical engineering or related fields from an accredited curriculum and eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Experience with mine water projects and may include water balance, water treatment, and/or project engineering and execution in a mining environment.
- Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing in English to a diversely educated audience
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Proficient in MS Office
- Present a positive, professional image
- Self-motivated, energetic, able to execute, and client-service oriented
- Be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
- Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety of yourself and others
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
- Ability and willingness to travel internationally
- Ability and willingness to travel on average at least five (5) weeks for every quarter
