High School English Teacher (26-27 SY)

Freire Schools is a network of charter schools in Philadelphia and Delaware that prepares students from historically underserved communities for success in college and beyond. The High School English Teacher position is available at Freire Charter High School or TECH Freire Charter School in Philadelphia, PA. The teacher will implement high-quality curriculum, foster a classroom environment of critical thinking and high expectations, and maintain consistent communication with families.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid state teaching certification
• Strong content-area knowledge and instructional skill
• Positive, solution-oriented mindset
• Minimum of two years of successful experience working with diverse student populations
