High School Social Studies Teacher

Freire Schools is seeking a High School Social Studies Teacher to implement high-quality, standards-aligned curriculum and drive rigorous instruction, critical thinking, and high achievement in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong content-area knowledge and instructional skill, a positive, solution-oriented mindset, and at least two years of experience working with diverse student populations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Valid state teaching certification, or a clear ability and commitment to obtain certification
• Strong content-area knowledge and instructional skill
• Positive, solution-oriented mindset with a work ethic and collaborative spirit
• Minimum of two years of successful experience working with diverse student populations
