Medical Assistant

We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team at Branch Health Clinic Dam Neck in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have experience in a team-based primary care setting and be able to perform a variety of tasks including rooming patients, taking vital signs, and scheduling appointments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 3 years
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Two letters of recommendation
• U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work on a federal military installation
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain a base access ID
• Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, general data entry)
