Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team supporting the VA healthcare system in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have multiple certifications and expertise in multiple specialties.
Requirements
- Must be registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in Abdomen/Small Parts and two (2) or more separate certifications, such as RVT, OB/GYN, Musculoskeletal, etc.
- Current BCLS certification required
- Must demonstrate expertise in ultrasounds of scrotum, pelvis, and ultrasound-guided biopsy, including liver and renal biopsies of native and transplanted organs, renal artery stenosis, and renal Doppler
- Minimum 3 years of hospital experience within the United States
- Must have worked within a hospital setting as an Ultrasound Tech in the last six (6) months
- Must have worked within a hospital lab setting as a Vascular Ultrasound Tech in the last six (6) months
- Current professional liability insurance (evidence required)
- Must be available to work for the VA at least six (6) months after starting date
