Job Description
Job Overview: Candidate will train on how to provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation service by operating various school buses in transporting pupils to and from school as well as related activities while maintaining a harmonious relation with transportation staff, district administrators, teachers, coaches and community members.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Valid Texas Drivers License
- Acceptable driving motor vehicle record based on TEA regulations/standards
- Pass an Annual Physical Per (DOT) Department of Transportation Pre-Employment Physical & Drug/Alcohol test
- Texas CDL Driver's License, Class A or B, with P and S endorsements preferred or must able to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Texas School Bus Driver Certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention Certification Requirement for Special Education Drivers Only
- Minimum of 2 years with a valid Driver's License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
