Bus Monitor: Special Education (Spring 2025-2026)

The Bus Monitor: Special Education will provide safe, efficient, and reliable transportation service by riding various school buses and ensuring a comfortable ride for students being transported to and from school as well as related activities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to operate safety equipment
• Ability to manage student behavior
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Ability to read a map and use maps preferred
• Experience working with special education students preferred
• Some knowledge of the policies, procedures, methods, techniques, equipment, precautions and safety measures involved in transporting and caring for special education students preferred
