Job Description
This is an on-site International Summer Camp Counselor position for a year-long contract with Frost Valley YMCA. The role involves supervising campers, planning activities, assisting counselors, and ensuring a safe and positive camp environment. First year campers will be responsible for 24/7 supervision, and senior counselors will interact with Directors and staff. The position is part of a team supporting summer camp operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Experience working with youth & teens
- Ability to work long hours under stress
- Flexibility to change schedules and campers
- Strong communication and group facilitation skills
- Excellent leadership and team working abilities
- Ability to multitask and handle pressure well
- Strong physical capabilities (lifting up to 15 lbs)
