We are looking for a motivated and conscientious H&S CDM Consultant to join our dynamic and driven construction consultancy. The role involves providing clients with comprehensive advice on all aspects of the H&S and CDM Regulations, including design risk management and Principal Designer duties.
Requirements
- Act as Principal Designer and ensure client duties are fulfilled under CDM 2015
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the pre-construction phase of projects, including submission of F10 notifications to the HSE
- Advise clients and project teams on health and safety and design risk management throughout design and construction
- Ensure design team compliance with CDM 2015, reviewing and assisting with Design Risk Assessments
- Prepare and review key project health and safety documentation, including pre-construction information, risk assessments, method statements and Health & Safety Files
- Conduct CDM site audits and monitor health and safety performance on behalf of the client
- Attend design, site and progress meetings to support effective communication between contractors, designers and clients
- Provide support to Senior Consultants on complex or high-risk projects
- Review O&M manuals and ensure accurate and compliant handover documentation
- Uphold health and safety standards and support environmental and social impact
