Accounting Manager

Function is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of its core accounting operations. The role involves leading critical components of the monthly close, building the structure, documentation, and controls, and elevating the function from execution to excellence.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Big 4 public accounting experience is strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and build processes from the ground up
• Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams and communicate accounting requirements in non-technical terms
• Excellent judgment, communication skills, and confidence proposing accounting positions and operational solutions
