Job Description
Function is seeking a creative and passionate design engineer with a mobile focus to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of health technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- 5-6+ years of mobile first experience as a Design Engineer or Mobile Developer role
- Advanced proficiency in React Native
- Additional experience in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Compose or SwiftUI, Storybook
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., ProtoPie, Origami, Figma, Framer) and an understanding of design systems and component libraries
- Strong eye for design, attention to detail, and passion for creating visually compelling and intuitive digital experiences
- Ability to effectively communicate ideas and solutions across cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards and platform-specific accessibility behaviors
