Job Description
The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for the evaluation of requirements generation, allocation, and tracking within the Information Assurance system and the implementation of new systems. This role involves identifying and fixing problems within existing systems and contributing to the development of next-generation IT systems. They will also be responsible for understanding customer needs and creating requirements that align with commercial IT products.
Requirements
- Top Secret/SCI w/ Polygraph Clearance
- Bachelor's degree (8+ years experience or Associate's degree + 12+ years experience)
- At least 8 years of relevant experience as a systems engineer
- DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level I certification
- Operating systems (Windows, UNIX, and Linux)
- Database/DBMS (Oracle, MS Access, Sybase)
- Applications (Tivoli, PeopleSoft)
- Experience with Active Directory, Identity Management, SCCM, DNS, Group Policy, Active Role Servers, PAM Services, and MS Exchange
- Understanding of concepts like mission islands, Trusted Thin Client and enhanced VDI
- CE certification (Microsoft OS, CentOS/Red Hat OS or MS Exchange)
