Job Description
The Software Integration Engineer will support mission customers using a containerized virtual Linux desktop solution deployed in Kubernetes. This role involves gathering requirements, implementing them, monitoring the system, troubleshooting the infrastructure, and deploying applications using scripting and automation tools. The company emphasizes a lifecycle-oriented approach to software development and system maintenance.
Requirements
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience configuring and installing Linux packages
- Demonstrated experience developing scripts using Bash and Python
- Experience monitoring, sustaining, and troubleshooting a large application/system infrastructure deployment in a Kubernetes Linux environment
- Experience with Helm Charts to package and deploy applications to a Kubernetes environment
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Demonstrated domain knowledge in distributed systems (cloud-based technologies)
- Demonstrated understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with Git/GitLab source control systems
