Job Description
This role supports Mission Applications in the PAD organization, performing Linux administration and scripting, application troubleshooting, and testing. The ideal candidate has a strong Linux background and experience with virtualization (Ansible, Puppet), system integration, and system architecture. Certification in Cybersecurity Workforce Improvement Program (CWIP) is required.
Requirements
- Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
- Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- System engineering experience with Linux and Windows OS
- Working with product vendors
- System integration/administration experience
- Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.)
- Completed and remain current on all Cyberspace Workforce Improvement Program (CWIP) certification requirements.
- Level I Cyberspace Workforce Improvement Program (CWIP) certification required at start
- Strong familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB, or other relational databases
