Job Description
This role involves supporting a high-performance computing (HPC) server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with Solaris, Red Hat, and SuSe servers, as well as experience with virtualization, system administration, and advanced troubleshooting of various IT components. Support for networks, automation, and specialized software development is also critical.
Requirements
- Installation, configuration, tuning, and support of servers, network devices, server interconnects, and mass storage systems.
- Client server technology utilizing NFS and CIFS.
- Configuration, tuning, and advanced troubleshooting of virtualization products such as VMware, Xen, and Solaris containers.
- Configuration, tuning, testing, and advanced level troubleshooting of high performance filesystems like XFS, GPFS, VXFS, and LUSTRE.
