Job Description
Fusemachines is seeking a Project Management Manager to lead the delivery operations and project management team in Nepal. The role involves coaching and empowering a team of early-career Project Managers, defining and standardizing project management practices, and driving escalation and risk management processes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in project or program management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Proven experience managing complex software or AI projects across distributed teams
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence, burndown charts, Gantt charts, etc.)
- Demonstrated success in improving delivery visibility and process maturity across teams
- Technical fluency — able to communicate effectively with engineers and challenge assumptions when needed
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience mentoring or leading junior project managers
- Prior exposure to AI, ML, or data-driven product development preferred
