Job Description
As a Solutions Engineer at FusionAuth, you will drive technical discovery and solution design, deliver developer-first technical evaluations, and provide hosting, architecture, and deployment guidance. You will work with engineering teams to guide prospects through solution design, hosting choices, and identity architecture decisions.
Requirements
- 4+ years software development or engineering experience
- 2+ years in pre-sales, customer-facing engineering, technical consulting, or similar
- Hands-on IAM experience (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, MFA, SSO) with ability to explain and implement flows
- Comfort working with modern frameworks (JS/TS, Python, Java, Go, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability)
- Strong communication skills — diagramming, documentation, storytelling
- Curiosity and a builder mindset — SEs at FusionAuth are makers
