Job Description
Future Motion is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their software team. The role involves designing, building, and evolving internal web applications to support shipping, customer support, inventory, and e-commerce workflows. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in software engineering and a strong background in Python or JavaScript/React.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strength in at least one of the following areas: Backend engineering with Python (Flask or similar frameworks), or Frontend engineering with JavaScript and React
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, etc.), including writing queries and designing schemas
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and deliver maintainable solutions
- Experience maintaining and improving existing production codebases in established systems
