Senior Cloud Data Engineer (Azure and Databricks)

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Data Engineer with experience working with data in the cloud and knowledge of Data services in Azure (mainly: ADF, Data Lake, Azure SQL Server, Synapse, Power BI), with a very good understanding of Databricks, with a focus on the latest features of this platform (e.g. Delta Live Tables and Unity Catalog).

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, including at least 3.5 years of experience working with Azure cloud data (commercial projects implemented on production)
• Commercial experience in processing large data using Databricks
• Advanced level SQL skills
• Knowledge of methodologies and Git and CI/CD
• Experience in creating and optimizing data processing solutions (ETL, ELT, etc.)
• Experience in monitoring, diagnosis, and problem-solving in the cloud
• Knowledge of Delta Lake and Data Lakehouse
• Knowledge of SMP and MPP architectures
• Knowledge of migrations of on-premise solutions to the cloud
• Knowledge of secure data storage and processing in the cloud
• Experience in direct cooperation with the client
• Advanced level English language skills (C1)
