Dishwasher

The position involves washing and cleaning dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment in a restaurant setting. This includes loading/unloading dish machines, maintaining cleanliness, and handling trash disposal. The role requires physical ability to work in a hot and humid environment and provides up to 8 hours of standing work.

Requirements

• Load and unload dish machine.
• Maintain dish machine cleanliness and report problems.
• Monitor water temperature for dish washing.
• Wash and store tableware and kitchenware.
• Maintain dishroom cleanliness and organizational ability.
• Bag and haul trash to the dumpster.
• Handle dishes with care to prevent breakage.
• Maintain adequate supply of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Clean food preparation and production areas (as needed).
