Job Description
Damen is a world leader in shipbuilding with a broad portfolio. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in the data science team within the RD&I department. Your responsibilities will be essential for improving products and processes through data analysis. You will be responsible for the entire process of developing data science models, from setting goals to making strategic decisions between developing own tools or using external solutions.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science or similar
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience (including internships) in Data Engineering and/or project management
- Proficiency in Python and R, and SQL databases
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and experience with tools such as Git
- Experience with ML is a plus
- Experience with C++ is a plus
- Fluency in both Dutch and English
