Job Description
We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Benelux entity based in Amersfoort. You will have a broad role, responsible for daily finance activities, accurate and timely monthly and annual closings, and external reporting.
Requirements
- Manage and control the general ledger (using Exact)
- Handle daily finance tasks including bank processing, incoming invoices, and outgoing payments
- Responsible for the monthly and annual closing and reporting for the Belgian and Dutch entities
- Handle VAT and Intrastat declarations
- Process fundings as part of our leasing activities (in SAP)
- Prepare vendor reports for Sales and Paris headquarters
- Prepare financial statements for central entities and provide input for corporate tax filings
- Support and back up the Financial Manager regarding monthly reporting to headquarters
- Act as a sparring partner for Sales on vendor reporting, VAT issues, and payments
- Initiate and independently coordinate projects to improve processes, internal controls, and the quality of the Finance organization
- Provide financial insights based on (ad-hoc) information needs
