SI Group is seeking a Manager-Environmental Health Safety and Security to lead the Newport organization and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to department managers and teams, develop constructive relationships, and implement training programs to ensure employees possess the needed EHS skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Engineering, or Safety
- 10 years of experience in plant air permitting in the specialty chemical, petrochemical, and/or regulatory/environmental industry
- Previous facilitation of Safety/Environmental training
- 10 years of experience in a safety engineering related job and/or interaction with OSHA
- Minimum 24 hours of Technician Level Hazmat Training and annual refresher training
- Previous personnel management experience
