Senior Systems Developer I

FWD Group is seeking a Senior Systems Developer I to join their team. The role involves development and implementation of FWD business system, conducting systems analysis, technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance support. The primary focus will be on COBOL development for Life Asia and/or Group Asia.

Requirements

• Conducts system analysis, technical design and prepare program specifications.
• Aligns systems with FWD's business requirements.
• Recommends solutions or workarounds to customers' business issues.
• Provides effort estimation.
• Performs unit and integration testing.
• Prepares and reviews release instructions for production implementation.
• Assists in testing and production environment setup.
• Participates in system testing (SIT) and supports user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Collaborates with FSA and other technical resources to ensure that the solution is aligned with the requirements.
• Ensures that organization policies, procedures and standards are met in the delivery of the solutions.
• Assists in turnover of production support knowledge transfer for newly released changes.
• Conducts Systems troubleshooting as needed.
• Ensures that product delivery incidents are tracked and updated.
