QA Automation Engineer

Fyld is a Portuguese consulting company looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, relevant certifications, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant certifications in software testing and automation (ISTQB or Selenium WebDriver)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, Cucumber)
• Experience in scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript) for test automation
• Ability to design and develop comprehensive test cases and test scenarios
• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI)
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git)
• Experience in testing web applications across different browsers and mobile applications across various devices and platforms
• Proficiency in API testing techniques and tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI)
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing and experience in writing SQL queries
• Familiarity with performance testing concepts and tools (JMeter or Gatling)
• Understanding of security testing principles and tools
• Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
