Oko Gold Project - Drill and Blast Foreman

The Drill and Blast Foreman is responsible for leading the safe, efficient, and effective execution of drilling and blasting activities in support of production and development targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mine or Geology engineering, with a technical diploma in blasting or technical diploma in mining and blasting + relative years of work experience.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in mining with at least 2–3 years in a drill and blast leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques in open-pit or underground mining.
• Ability to interpret blast designs, layouts, technical drawings, and production plans.
• Familiarity with blast design and modeling software.
• Proven leadership and team management skills in a production environment.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, mine production tracking systems).
