The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping production equipment running at peak performance. This role requires mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance to maximize uptime and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Set up, prepare, and maintain equipment for scheduled production runs.
- Perform emergency and unscheduled repairs on presses, robots, and facility equipment.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical issues.
- Inspect and diagnose machine failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Repair/replace defective components and adjust machines for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with production and technical teams to address equipment concerns.
- Maintain organized maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong background with presses (any type), along with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
- Fanuc robot experience preferred.
- Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift operation experience required.
- Willingness to work 2nd shift, weekends, and overtime.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Basic computer proficiency.
