The Environmental Health & Safety Manager is a hands-on role responsible for leading and executing EH&S activities at the Warren location, ensuring the safety of all employees and the protection of the environment through compliance with all federal, state, local, and Corporate regulations and policies.
Requirements
- Drive a management-supported and employee-driven safety culture to proactively eliminate safety hazards through achievement of daily/monthly/annual safety goals.
- Ensure timely communication on critical metric and incident reporting, incident reduction activities, training, and employee involvement.
- Develop, implement, communicate, sustain, and train on programs which proactively eliminate safety and environmental risks associated with but not limited to: product design, facility operations, manufacturing processes, ergonomics, product distribution, waste, and recycling.
- Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS)/Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all fire and emergency response equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal Environmental and Safety regulations.
