The Heat Treat Operator will be responsible for performing various operations within the Heat Treat area as assigned, including performing light maintenance tasks, reading and interpreting work tickets, and loading and unloading parts in furnaces.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a precision machining manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of G&M Codes
- Experience with manual turning, milling, drilling, or CNC mill, lathe, broach, and drilling operations
- Proficiency in GD&T and the ability to read technical drawings
- Familiarity with machine tools and inspection tools such as gauge blocks, dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers
- Knowledge of insert tooling nomenclature
- Ability to follow work instructions accurately
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
