2nd Shift Landing Gear Technician - Polisher

GA Telesis is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Landing Gear Technician-Polisher to join its award-winning team in Medley, FL. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality alterations, disassemble, clean, and inspect landing gear components, and follow strict tolerances and OEM repair manuals.

Requirements

• Disassemble, clean, and inspect landing gear components for wear, corrosion or damage.
• Perform polishing of various landing gear parts, including cylinders and pistons using specialized tools and equipment.
• Follow strict tolerances and OEM repair manuals to ensure parts are restored to airworthiness standards.
• Operate machinery such as lathes, hones, grinders, and plating tanks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Reads and interprets engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.
