The Quality System Specialist maintains and improves the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. The role conducts audits, analyzes quality data, supports corrective actions, and partners cross-functionally to enhance process effectiveness, reduce risk, and promote a strong culture of quality.
Requirements
- Plan, conduct, and document internal audits, track findings through corrective action to closure.
- Analyze quality performance data (KPIs, trends, audit results, customer feedback, nonconformances) to identify risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead and support corrective action investigations using structured root-cause analysis and verify the effectiveness of implemented actions.
- Drive process standardization, documentation updates, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, consistency, and compliance.
- Support external audits, customer audits, and certification assessments.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement, Sales, Training, and Management to ensure quality requirements are integrated into business processes.
- Support training and awareness related to quality systems, procedures, and continuous improvement tools.
- Assist with management review inputs, reporting, and quality system performance metrics.
