Custodian

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment at all Gads Hill Center sites, adhering to a daily schedule of cleaning and sanitizing tasks, and identifying and reporting potential safety hazards and needed repairs.

Requirements

• Previous janitorial experience preferred
• Ability to handle heavy cleaning equipment, machinery and furniture
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and other hazardous materials
• Dedicated and cautious; high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• GED or High School Diploma preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills
• Ability to pass a criminal record and child abuse/neglect registry check
• A passion for the mission of Gads Hill Center
