Job Description
Gads Hill Center is seeking a Teacher for its Early Head Start program. The teacher will deliver comprehensive early childhood education services to children in a safe, nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and at least 6 credit hours in Infants/Toddlers, as well as experience working with low-income families and a passion for the mission of Gads Hill Center.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with at least 6 credit hours in Infants/Toddlers
- Illinois Gateways Infant Toddler Level 4 credential
- One year of direct early childhood classroom experience with low-income families
- Experience with multi-cultural programming
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organization skills
- Ability to pass a criminal record and child abuse/neglect registry check
