Job Description
Gads Hill Center is seeking a Teacher - Head Start to deliver comprehensive early childhood education services to children in a safe, nurturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing structured educational activities based on program curriculum, while ensuring adherence to licensing standards and funder requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Illinois Gateways Early Childhood Education Level 5 credential
- Professional educators License (PEL) with Early Childhood Endorsement
- One (1) year previous direct early childhood classroom experience with low-income families
- Experience with multi-cultural programming
- Bi-lingual Spanish/English
