Multicraft Technician I

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Minimum of 3 years industrial or mechanical maintenance experience
• 3 years Industrial maintenance experience in a high volume manufacturing operation, preferably continuous process
• Must be able to read instructions, blue prints and manuals, and use any meters, hand tools and shop equipment to perform the required job tasks
• Must be able to perform millwright work such as aligning a pump and motor, install sheaves, belts, align equipment, check for proper alignment and belt tension
• Basic experience troubleshooting and repair/replace of mechanical power transmission, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welding and assembly of parts and materials
• Perform all phases of welding including MIG, and Rod. Work on pipe systems, which would involve repairing, modifying, and installing systems
• Familiar with PLC systems including ability to troubleshoot process control ladder logic
• Familiar with troubleshooting variable frequency drives (VFDs)
• Must have a good safety and attendance record, and be willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary
