Job Description
GAF is hiring a Multicraft Technician II in Newton, KS. The job involves safely completing advanced multicraft tasks, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing setting. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, a working knowledge of 480v systems, and experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix Controllers.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Associate’s Degree Preferred
- A minimum of 3 years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience required
- Experience troubleshooting and repair of mechanical power trains, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, welding and assembly of parts and materials
- A working knowledge of 480v systems and their respective controls, ability to use and read multimeter
- Experience with Allen Bradley ControlLogix Controllers / RS Logix 5000 Software a definite plus
- Ability to operate a manual mill and lathe
- NFPA 70e Certificate preferred
