Shipping Supervisor

The Shipping Supervisor is directly responsible for supervising the shipping/warehouse operation and personnel, ensuring the Standard Operating Procedures are being adhered to, and maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Requirements

• Plan and direct daily and weekly activities of the shipping/warehouse function
• Oversee inbound and outbound shipping activities
• Manage all aspects of rail shipping
• Handle customer service compliance
• Manage labor and schedule shipping and receiving personnel work hours
• Provide proper training to shipping employees
• Create a safe work environment
• Generate reports and maintain accurate records
• Investigate unreported damage
