Job Description
We are looking for an Accounting Specialist to support general accounting in implementing financial programs and policies, contributing to proper accounting processes, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of all closing activities.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or a completed commercial vocational training with relevant professional qualification
- Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial closing processes
- Experience with IFRS, particularly IFRS 16, as well as knowledge of HGB
- Solid understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements
- Strong affinity for IT systems and working with numbers
