
The Laurent Clerc National Deaf Education Center at Gallaudet University is a federally funded center with exemplary elementary and secondary education programs for deaf and hard of hearing students and is tasked with developing and disseminating innovative curricula, instructional techniques, and products nationwide.
Daily Substitute Teachers are in on-call positions, covering classes for teachers who are absent – implementing lesson plans for the day; Demonstrating good classroom/behavior management skills in order to maintain a safe learning environment; Adhering to school policies and procedures; Communicating with school personnel as needed.
