Senior Project Engineer

The client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Los Angeles or San Diego. This position is a key technical leadership role, where the selected candidate will work alongside Project Managers and structural engineers to deliver innovative and cost-effective structural designs.

Requirements

• Minimum 7-10+ years of building design experience.
• Masters degree in Structural Engineering from a U.S. university (required).
• Strong experience with Type I construction (steel and concrete structures).
• Experience in a wide range of structural materials and building types.
• Ability to design and detail structural systems for large, complex structures.
• Proficiency in working with BIM designers, architects, and consultants.
• Seismic & Structural Knowledge: Experience in seismic evaluation and retrofitting (ASCE 41) is a plus.
• SE License (preferred, but not required).
• Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor junior engineers.
