Job Description
The client is seeking a Corporate Associate with 2-5 years of relevant experience to join their Transactions Practice Group in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, or New York. The ideal candidate will work on a variety of corporate matters, including emerging companies & venture capital (ECVC) financing, M&A, private equity, and general corporate counseling for both publicly and privately held companies, private equity funds, and other investors and entrepreneurs.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in corporate law
- Strong document drafting and project management skills
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic
- Comfortable with direct client interaction and building relationships with partners
- Must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member of the Bar in the jurisdiction where the candidate is admitted to practice
