Lead DevOps Engineer

Gambling.com Group is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design and build an Infrastructure-as-a-Service automation (IaaS) platform for development teams, and lead day-to-day activities of existing DevOps business-as-usual (BAU) activities.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer
• Minimum of 2 years experience leading a DevOps team or equivalent technical leadership role
• Advanced experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Expertise in managing web application infrastructure using PHP, Apache, Nginx, DNS, SSL certificates, CDNs, and deployment pipelines
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar
• Proficient in architecting scalable software solutions following best practices
• Development experience to guide teams in adhering to coding and deployment best practices
• Experience with Internal Developer Portals and developer self-service automation -highly desired
• Strong knowledge of EC2 configuration management using Ansible – strongly desired
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership
• AWS certifications – strongly desired
