Job Description
The lumberman loads and unloads building materials and other incoming materials for delivery or storage. This position is occasionally referred to as a Load Builder.
Requirements
- Read, write, understand, and relay, written and verbal instructions
- Operate various hand and power tools
- Operate various types of material handling equipment
- Stand, walk, sit, for long periods of time while working indoors or outdoors
- Lift/carry up to 75 pounds regularly
- Push/pull up to 75 pounds regularly
