Job Description
The Family Support Worker provides direct, strengths-based support to children, caregivers, and families. The position focuses on helping families access resources, build protective factors, and strengthen stability through advocacy, parent education, case management, and connection to community supports.
Requirements
- Assess the needs and strengths of families requesting support
- Collaborate and provide outreach to local community-based network of service providers
- Facilitate public awareness of the FRC
- Host family, youth and group support groups for program participants and their families
- Represent the FRC in the community and state-wide networking/educational conferences
