Security Guard (Unarmed)

We are seeking highly vigilant and professional Security Guards (Unarmed) to maintain safety and order within the custodial facility. In this crucial role, you will provide comprehensive internal and external security, working in close collaboration with our custodial officers to ensure the secure supervision and movement of the facility population, and compliance with all facility regulations and protocols.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Class “D” Florida Statewide Security Officer License
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military, with a strong preference for experience in a custodial setting
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Excellent communication, observation, and report-writing skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure and in high-stress situations
• Strong understanding of security protocols within a custodial facility environment
