Duty Manager

GardaWorld is seeking a Duty Manager to ensure performance, productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness of various teams. The role involves workforce planning, profitability, and compliance, as well as mentoring and training personnel.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in business management or related field
• Fluency in French, spoken and written
• Fluency in English, spoken and written
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience as a manager, including overseeing a team
• Established in creating and executing action plans to achieve goals
• Excellent conflict management skills
• Experience and track record leading, motivating, and coaching people
• Strong commitment to teamwork
• Highly flexible and adaptable to support 24/7 operation
• Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful situations
• Strong understanding of legal requirements and responsibilities in a unionized environment
• Ability to obtain and retain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and Transport Canada Clearance
