Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Engineer to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate has experience with a modern data stack, implementations of data pipelines using Python and SQL in AWS, and a high sense of ownership. The role will involve building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines, defining and building out abstracted reusable data sets, and designing a federated data validation framework.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software/data engineering experience
- Expertise in SQL, job experience, and demonstrated strength with Python
- Experience working with orchestration tools (especially Airflow), databases (especially PostgreSQL), datalakes (especially Iceberg), data warehouses (especially Snowflake)
- Familiarity with healthcare or insurance
- Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance
