Staff Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking an exceptional Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our organization. Garner's Engineering team tackles incredibly hard technical problems for a mission that truly matters.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, especially with ML systems
• 2+ years of MLOps experience
• Experience leading teams of engineers with demonstrated impact on technical strategy
• A generalist software engineering mindset ready to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques required for a fast paced startup environment
• Demonstrated ability to build complex systems using AI coding agents (we use Claude Code)
• Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance
• A desire to be a part of a high-performing, mission-driven team that operates with intense urgency, a strong sense of individual accountability, and a commitment to authentic feedback
