Job Description
The Proposal Manager will lead proposal development, manage meetings with stakeholders, and create schedules to drive projects to successful completion. The role requires deep knowledge of Gartner's portfolio of services, excellent written and oral communication skills, and experience with U.S. Federal procurement processes. The ideal candidate is a motivated, high-potential performer with a strong understanding of proposal best practices and a passion for influencing and leading.
Requirements
- 2+ years of proposal writing, proposal development, and/or proposal management experience
- Deep experience with U.S. Federal procurement processes
- Experience working with additional public sector procurement processes
- Global, commercial proposal experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications or equivalent
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Extremely strong writing skills and very strong spoken and written English
- Strong expertise in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Significant bid development experience, collaborating with multiple stakeholders through the iteration process
- Experience effectively managing multiple conflicting tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, agile and high-stakes environment
- Ability to communicate and influence at multiple levels of seniority/leadership
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Extremely strong writing skills with an exceptional level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Expertise in Microsoft Office products (especially Word and PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat/Kofax PowerPDF
