Job Description
Gartner is looking for a Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead a multi-disciplinary development team in building innovative software products. The role requires a strong technical background in Java, databases, NoSQL, JavaScript frameworks, and AWS services, as well as exceptional people management skills and a proven track record in application architecture and Agile methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 12-17 years of experience in software development
- Exceptional people management skills with an emphasis on mentoring
- Strong technical background in Java, databases, NoSQL, JavaScript frameworks, and AWS services
- Strong foundation in application architecture and software development
- Proven experience in application architecture, Agile methodologies, and code/design reviews
- Excellent people management, mentoring, and communication skills
